I do like this shower curtain, yet it's never become pliable. We've had it now for approximately 3 months. There is no mildew to speak of, and that was always my concern. Our boys are at the age that they take baths together, and I wanted and needed a shower curtain that I could close but see through for their safety and my sanity. This is a very good product, save for the stiffness it continues to have.
